We want your stay to be enjoyable and comfortable, and part of that is understanding the unique conditions of Puerto Rico. The island is beautiful, lively, and warm, but it also experiences infrastructure challenges. Power and water outages can happen unexpectedly and may affect internet, air conditioning, hot water, and appliances. Our building has a generator for the hallways and elevators and a water cistern that provides temporary backup, but the condo itself does not run on generator power. These interruptions are a normal part of island life. Because weather shifts quickly in the Caribbean, we recommend purchasing travel insurance. During hurricane season, please monitor conditions and choose what feels safest for you. Refunds are only provided when a mandatory evacuation is issued by the National Weather Service. Rain and tropical storms are common and not grounds for refunds. The building is undergoing ongoing improvements. While the structure is secure and staffed by full-time security, some amenities may temporarily close without notice for repairs or updates. Certain closets and cabinets are reserved for owner use. Puerto Rico’s tropical ecosystem means you may encounter mosquitoes, ants, flies, and occasionally roaches, even on upper floors. We perform regular pest control and deep cleaning, but the climate makes occasional encounters possible. We provide a starter set of essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap. Once these run out, guests can easily restock at the convenience store located in the building or at the supermarket two blocks away. The unit includes linens, towels, beach towels, and bedding, along with a compact washer and dryer. Larger laundry machines are available in the lobby. For safety reasons, the condo is not equipped for infants or toddlers. Please review the House Rules and Additional Rules before booking to ensure the property is a good fit for your stay. Some reservations may require a brief identity verification through Truvi before final confirmation. This helps create a secure experience for both guests and hosts.
